The minimum installation charge is not intended to apply to each building at a single location. When installation can be completed at more than one building, and it is not necessary for the installers equipment to be transported by vehicle between the installation sites, only one minimum installation charge should be applied.

There will be no provision in this contract for any increase or reduction in the contract prices for any installation for a state agency or public school without approval from the Division of Purchase and Contract.8. Substitutions
Substitutions are not permitted without prior written approval of this division. Failure of the contractor to comply with this requirement may result in the removal of the contractor from the contract.
Transportation Charges:
All goods shall be delivered FOB DESTINATION for all orders equal to, or greater, than the minimum order, when shipped to a single destination. Orders for less than the minimum order will be shipped prepaid, with transportation charges added to the invoice as a separate item. Transportation charges levied by the contractor for orders equal to, or greater than the minimum order, when shipped to a single destination, may be cause for removal of the contractor from the contract. In instances where the contractor makes partial shipments of an order to one destination which is equal to, or greater than, the minimum order, all shipments of the order shall be sent FOB DESTINATION with NO additional transportation charges.

A Mini Blinds (mini-blind, miniblind) is a type of non-vertical window blind made of long, narrow slats held together by string and located inside the window. Its slats are not as wide as venetian blind slats.2 A Mini Blinds has more slats than a regular Venetian blind because its slats are narrow. The slats of mini cellular shades are less than half the width of regular Venetian Mini Blindss. The slats are opened and closed by rotating a rod or by directly pulling a string. They are raised and lowered by pulling other strings.

RADIANCE is description of a set of new venetian window blinds. The depth of the cheap blinds (X dimension) is given first, followed by the width (Y dimension), followed by the height (Z dimension). The number of slats to place evenly within this height is given as nslats. The angle of the blind, where zero is perfectly horizontal and a positive angle tilts the positive X edge upwards, is given in degrees. For more than 20 years, DOE’s I&I program has funded more than 500 energy efficient inventions with nearly 25 percent of them reaching the marketplace. Cumulative sales for those products total nearly $710 million.
DOE’s NICE3 program provides funding to state and industry partnerships (large and small business) for projects that demonstrate advances in energy efficiency and clean production technologies like advanced window blind and window shade systems. State and industry partnerships are eligible to receive a one-time grant of up to $525,000. The industrial partner may receive a maximum of $500,000 in federal funding. The non-federal cost share must be at least 50 percent of the total cost of the project.

WASHINGTON A former chief operating officer of a window blind slat manufacturing company has agreed to plead guilty for his role in a conspiracy to defraud customers, the Department of Justice announced today.
A criminal case filed today in the U.S. District Court in Cleveland charged Todd M. Markey of Houston with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud for his participation in a scheme to defraud customers by secretly convincing competitors to increase slat prices by 8 percent. “Cellular Shades” are the vertical or horizontal louvers of window Window Treatments that can be adjusted to let in light.
